Help!!! problem on the bus!!!!!!?

This annoying boy Tommy always takes my backpack on the bus and my lunch box then gives my food to this obnoxious popular girl who always says "give me food!". What should I do? I was thinking of making cookies with disguisting ingredients so when they take my food they will regret it. Is that a good idea?

Why are kids so frustrating!?!?!?(Warning, this is kinda long)?

My kids are 8, 11 and 13 and I dont know about anyone elses kids but they seem like THE most self centered kids I have ever met! I try to teach them right from wrong and to have respect for others and yet they are ssooo mean to each other. My 8 yr old is the snobbiest girl ever and the boys are always fighting with each other. They do nothing unless told even though their chores are clearly spelled out for them. My 11 and 13 yr old have been doing dishes nightly for the last 2 yrs and yet ,EVERY night, I have to say, boys , time to do dishes, or else they will not do them. And even though they KNOW that every night they will be expected to do them, my 11 yr old throws a huge fit, especially if it is his turn to wash. Also they NEVER pick up after themselves. I try to keep a fairly neat and tidy house but if something is on the floor they will just step right over it or around it because "I didnt put it there."And lastly every morning before school, I have to list off every single thing for them to do to make sure they are all ready for school. I try to have them prepare as much as possible the night before;outfit laid out, non-fridge items put in their lunch box,backpacks all set, but yet I am still 'did you brush your teeth, did you put deodorant on, did you brush your hair,did you make your sandwich? Everything! And after each one they will say, 'oh' and go do it and then come and sit back down until I ask the next thing. If I dont do this, they will leave the house in their pajamas with nothing in their hand! They get enough sleep and I wake them up with plenty of time to sit and wake up an few minutes before they get started. I guess my question is, does anyone else deal with this? I am at my wits end!!!

My kids did that for a long time until I decided enough was enough. I stopped hounding them about everything. If they forgot their lunches a few times you bet there bottom dollar they finally remembered every morning to fix it. You need to sit them down one night and explain you are not going to be reminding them about things to do in the morning before they go to school (still remind them about the chores at night and the pick ups) and if they forget anything then it is their fault and you will not be bringing anything to school. Still get them up and make sure they stay awake but for the rest of the things (brushing teeth) if they go to school with stinky breath and one of their friends tells them about it you bet they won't forget it tomorrow morning. Try that and see how it goes. My kids caught on fast. They didn't like their friends teasing them. One time my daughter forgot to put on her pants (she had on pajama pants) and went to school like that. She called me to bring her pants and I told her no. She never forgot anything that important again.
