These are LeSportSac backpacks which i love love love love but it's not cheap, but if you were willing to splurge, they'll last forever. I have my sister's handme down and it's maybe 5 years old.

JanSport has a lot of neat backpacks but there isn't a lot of choices it really isn't backpack season yet. You would have better luck if you looked around august.

I really suggest going to JC Penny first though because there are so many choices and cute backpacks! mostly the prices range from $20 to $30.
If you don't find any backpacks you compleatly fall in love with i suggest you try to use a tote bag. Hollister, American Eagle, VS Pink, and Aeropostale have mazing bags. Though before you buy look into the school dress code. At my school we arn't allowed to use them because it could be potentially dangerous (?!)

I'm going to be a junior in high school this year. I have always used a tote bag because it seems like not many girls use backpacks. But it seems like backpacks are coming back in style and there are some really cute ones. What do you think should I get a tote or a super cute backpack? Do you think backpacks are coming back in style?? And if you could find any really cute backpacks that would be great!! Thanks!! :)

backpacks ARE coming back and fast too!(: lOl.....the cute yet supportive backpacks(great for high school students) are the DAKINE brand bags!! they have the most ah-mazing support and alot of storage go to DAKINE.com or google images dakine backpacks and you'll see what i mean!(: hope i helped!(: (: (:
