What is the best backpack for a teen girl?

I have been looking for a backpack for school and the only one I like is the hurley new icon backpack at pacsun, but it's no longer available. So, I what backpack do you think will definitely change my mind and is available online or in store. I like Pacsun (but recently dont like any of their other backpacks), Hurley, Zoo York. Please help me!

Do a lot of people at your school wear backpacks? Because if you do, I suggest you get just a big tote, if they allow it, because a lot of them are really cute and cheap, plus you'll be starting a new style - I started using totes and a week after there were a bunch of girls with them too.

If they don't allow it or you just don't want to, try Macy's or Hot Topic or Quiksilver for that kind of style...

What should i have on my back to school shopping list?

I m giving myself a fashion makeover. something more girly and cute. But i still dont know how many blouse, tank, jeans etc... a girl should have in her closet. So im planning on coming back to school with a totally new me. So please help!

back to school shopping list:)
usually this is how much stuff you need:

bottoms:
jeans/skinny jeans:5 pairs [atleast] or 7 [to be safe] but you can have wayy more:D
shorts:2 or more [depends how much you like wearing shorts]
skirts:1 or more [depends how much you like wearing skirts]

tops:
shortsleeved:12 [atleast] but i prefer more:)
longsleeved:5 [atleast] i prefer more:)
sweaters/hoodies:4 [atleast] i prefer more:]

dresses:
special occassions:2 [atleast]
summer dress: 1 [atleast] for anyday

shoes:
regular tennis shoes: 2 [atleast] butt you can have wayy more:)
flats: 2 [atleast [butt you can have wayyyy more]
flip flops 1 [atleast] you can have more
running shoes for p.e:1

oh and you also need underwear/socks/bras and stuff like that (butt i think you already know how much you need:)

accesories:
this just depends if you like accesorizing:)
necklaces
braclets
earings
hair accessories
and other stuff like that:)

hanbags/purses/backpacks:
i love taking handbags to school instaed of backpacks so this is what i have:
8 hanbags
2 backpacks
(you dont really need that much but i like taking different stuff:)
