Like what is the latest age you can join. And do they pay for room and board. And when do you go to bootcamp. Just anything. Thank you
Answer
sure, i have a NROTC pamphlet that i carry around in my backpack
OK it says requirements:
to be eligible you must be a US citizen
Be eligible for security clearance
Have reached your 17th birthday by Sept 1 of your HS grad year
not have reached your 21st bday by June 30 of the year you begin participation in NROTC
Be physically qualified with the standards required for midshipmen
Be an Hs grad or possess an equivalent certificate
Plan to participate in no less tan 4 years in the program and meet all requitements for commisioning
Have no moral obligations or personal convictions that will prevent you conscientously bearing arms and supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic
If you qualify you will be eligble for NROTC scholarships in which most or all of your expenses will be paid for. If you don't recieve a scholarship you still recieve financial aid while you are in ROTC
I believe boot camp (aka basic training) is the summer of your second year in the program, its 13 weeks

Help finding a good backpack.?
Tank
I'm in college and the backpack I have now is falling to pieces. It barley lasted one semester. I use it everyday for carrying books and my computer. I need to know a type of bag that is durable, but is also big enough to hold my monstrous laptop. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Cabelas or Bass Pro Shops are a great place to look. the stuff they have is made for use in the outdoors and i do not know one person that would buy anything that is junk for anything to do with the outdoors. and yes, they have things in colors other than camouflage. here are a couple of links for an idea. be sure to check the bargain cave at Cabelas and the clearance section at Bass Pro. sometimes they have incredible deals.
