I am spending three weeks in Spain with my school and I will be responsible for hauling my luggage. I have been to Greece and Germany, both of which required me to drag my bulky, heavy suitcase up many flights of stairs. While I am in Spain, I will be in Barcelona and a small town in Grenada, so i expect to be moving quite often.
What is a good bag to pack three weeks worth of necessities?
Any favorite traveling bags?
I am a rather small girl so I want something manageable. Any Pointers?

I never travel with more than a backpack on wheels, and my laptop.
You don't need 3 weeks worth of necessities: you only need 1 week's worth.
You can launder your used clothes, and mix and match to get a different look
every day.

I'm sort of an exchange student and will stay in a school for three days. The rest will be sightseeing and touring Sendai and Matsushima bay.
Can someone help me with what I really need to pack and things I need to bring.
I will be staying with my host family for the entire time.

2 t-shirts, 1 pair of pants, (1 skirt if you are a girl), 1 face towel, a 1/4 roll of toilet paper in your purse or satchel, 2 underwear changes, personal hygiene supplies in a Ziploc bag(3 oz bottles, pen and paper, money, and a present for the host family that everyone in the family can enjoy. It should be something that one can not purchase in Japan, and your camera. You will also need your passport and flight ticket. And, pack a small empty foldable backpack into your suitcase so that you will have a carry-on bag to put your souvenirs and gifts in.
I now travel only with a backpack on wheels that I can use as a carry-on, always breeze through security and never have to wait for hours at the luggage carousel. Airlines can also never lose my luggage with this system.
