Hey guys could you help me get ready for high school?

Okay. I am not sure whether to bring a backpack, messenger bag, or tote to school. I'm going to be a sophomore. I used a backpack freshmen year, but lots of other girls had totes. I mean the backpack was no problem, but I'm not sure because the backpack may sometimes be to bulky and may get in the way of things. And if I do get a backpack or messenger bag, is it okay if I but Dickies brand. Will it carry enough books? Thanks.

If its anything like my high school, you'll want to use a backpack like Jansport. That is a sturdy brand and they're cute. Since backpacks just go on the floor next to the seats, you shouldn't buy a tote bag that's super cute and will get dirty unless you have a basket underneath or are okay with it getting dirty.
I think a backpack is better for comfort but if your teachers give your class a home set of books (one to keep at home) then use a tote cause you wont have to bring a book to class.
If both is an option, do that and see which suits you better.
Also you can carry your books or put them in your locker instead of jamming them into your backpack.
Dickies is a good brand and ehh backpacks aren't really that bulky unless they roll on the floor :p
