Northface jester backpack?

I am an 18 year old guy, and my mom bought me a Northface jester backpack. While I was reading the reviews, I noticed the demographic for these are mostly girls. Is this a girl backpack? I have it navy blue so the color itself is masculine. I'm attending college in the fall, and I need a good sturdy, stylish backpack as I will be carrying tons of books.

No. My husband used to use a TNF backpack jester as his work bag (he works in the medical field). I am in college also, and I see this backpack on guys (black or the dark navy) all the time.
