I live in astoria queens NY and i was wondering where i can get a reliable camping backpack that can withstand a beating and possibly water proof for cheap. all the bags ive looked at cost between 150-400 dollars.

If a handgun is unloaded in a backpack, is it considered concealed in Colorado?

I'm going camping with a friend this weekend and I've been contemplating bringing a handgun. I'm 19 so I'm legal for open carry of a loaded gun in Colorado, but if its unloaded and in a backpack or bag is it considered concealed? Thanks.

Yes because it is on your person and is concealed. Plus what is the sense of bringing a gun backpacking if you do not have it loaded and ready? Just stick it in a holster on your hip. Even it is partly covered the holster constitutes open carry.
