kids backpacks under $20 image

When beginning like never really have lifted before, how much should I start with? I never have before because no one shows me how and I never had access but now we have a bench and weights so what do up usughest I start with?
I am around 5'4", 148lbs so I do have a bit of a belly but the bmi calculator says healthy is like a 20-25 bmi and I'm like 25.7 or something so I'm not that overweight but I have no muscle really. My leg muscles actually are kinda big but my biceps aren't that much and I certainly have no abs or pecs. What should I start with?
I have until July 31st that's when school starts so should I do a schedule every other day I lift or something. I play baseball but not for the school and basketball, not for the school either. I used to be really really good at baseball, best on every team from age 6-10 and then I hit a batting slump and now I suck.
Thanks

Nothing. Growing kids shouldn't lift anything heavy unless it's their backpacks. You'll stunt your growth, and then in four years you're going to come here and ask us for methods to grow taller.
Better to do workout with no weight until you hit age eighteen or even twenty. There are other ways to develop muscle-mass, and I don't mean team sports, though those help, I mean real workouts by yourself. Besides, BMI usually doesn't work all that well with kids under sixteen-eighteen.

Why is this on preschooler, anyway?

I took an external frame Kelty backpack when I went. I think it was right at $100 (like $99.95) + tax, but it lasted me about 4 years before that and is still fine today, and I went in 2003. Make sure you get extra pins, as carrying food for multiple days can get pretty heavy and might break some. I'll say that some of the weaker kids that went on my trek weighed their packs in at 20 lbs; meanwhile, mine was in at 45 lbs (but I could carry it). Even with all that, my pack still held up. It's a worthy investment, even if you go a little over $100. You won't have to buy another one any time soon. The only exception? My dad's old Kelty pack that finally ripped apart in the 1990's, that he bought in the 1960's. Fabric and materials have become more advanced since then.
