best jansport backpack reviews image

Im looking at a cheaper backpacking internal frame and came across a few Jansport packs. I cant seem to find any customer reviews on them. Has anyone had an experience with them?
Answer
Jansport makes a decent backpack, but don't expect the same level of quality and comfort you'd find in a North Face or Lowe Alpine pack. I'd put Jansport as a mid-level pack and generally only use them for short-term needs (OK from a train station to a hotel and that sort of thing). For any trip where you'll be hiking a good portion of the day, save up for a better quality pack. Your back and shoulders will thank you for it. You might check places like www.campmor.com and www.northernmountain.com They often have older, discontinued packs on clearance and you might be able to get a better pack for close to the same money as a Jansport.

School supplys for a sophomore in high school?
Stephanie
Im a sophmore in high school And would like to know the supplies I Should buy. And what bags would be cute and affordable for school. Like messangers or big purses. The classes Im taking would be. Honors chemestry, geometry, world history, english II,journalism, creative writing, and animal science. Also would the binder system work? Any organizational tips would help.
Answer
okay well i just finished my sophomore year in high school so i know what you mean!
PURSES/BAGS
well in my experience i have always used totes because my school provide books for me to have at home so i dont need to carry them around. so if your school does this then vera bradley has really cute tote bags and they're on sale too! www.verabradley.com check it out (:
if your school doesnt provide books at home and you need to carry them around i would suggest a backpack so you wont hurt your back too much. jansport has some really cute ones www.jansport.com and of course you can always go to walmart or target to get what you want
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
pens, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener, binder, notebooks, highlighters, pencil pouch, dividers
okay so you are going to need a scientific calculator and these can get pretty pricey. i suggest going to maybe a local pawn shop to get some for cheap. i got mine there and it works like new.
also about the binder system. i always found to like binders and just use dividers to separate my classes. everything is in one thing and i dont have to worry about losing a folder or something but do whatever works for you
ORGANIZATIONAL TIPS
so like i said the binder and divider system works great also make sure you have a notebook for each class to take notes. having a notebook for each one doesnt clutter your notes and everything you need is in one notebook. i also suggest to write your notes in pen because later when you need to refer to something for a final it wont smear like pencil does.
buy a planner or if your school provides one thats great too. make sure to write down your assignments in these and whateve else you need to remember. this will really help you stay on track of your assignments. i also wrote down when i had tests and when projects were due so i wasnt scrambling at the last minute and you know exactly what to do. oh and make sure to study new material every night. when you learn something in class go home that night and review what you learned. doing this will help you understand better and you wont be cramming the night before to remember everything. i hope i helped and good luck (:
