Im in high school and i want to change,
ever since middle school ive been called 'emo'
even if i dont even look emo!
but i wanna change.
any tips ?
oh & where can i get cute purses.
i want to take one to school instead of a backpack.
any stores? links would be awesome.

Forever 21 have some really nice stuff, also Old Navy are good if you're on a budget. Try wearing things like skinny jeans and flat dolly shoes, nice shirts and cardigans, paint your nails a nice bright colour. High heels if you're going out at night, dresses, skirts, leggings, shorts. There's alot of things you can try to make yourself a "girly girl". Main thing is, be yourself. Don't pretend to be something your not and wear what makes you feel comfortable, if you wanna change your image make sure it's for yourself and not to make other people happy. Good luck :)

What are cute backpacks for girls in middle school?

I am going to be in 6th. I want a backpack that can hold a lot of textbooks and binders etc.
my style would be like this hello kitty backpack from hot topic. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/PopCulture/EverythingElse/CultFavorites/Hello-Kitty-White-Face-Backpack-997854.jsp .but it might not hold enough. so any ideas?

I'm trying to think...in middle school, these are the backpacks I had:
6th grade: started out with an Abercrombie messenger, then had an Abercrombie tote later
7th grade: American Eagle tote
8th grade: Aeropostale tote
So...I had a tote every year, haha. That's basically what all the girls had at my school. If you want a regular backpack, I would get a cute jansport or underarmour one from Dick's or something. At my school, though, you weren't allowed to carry your stuff around in backpacks until high school. Even last year in 9th grade though, pretty much everybody had a tote. I guess it just depends on your preference.
